UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS

What is a business line of credit?

A business line of credit gives an approved business access to funds up to a set limit. The business may draw funds when needed, as long as the account remains within its limit and follows the agreement.

Some credit lines allow available credit to grow again as borrowed funds are repaid. Others may work differently. Ask whether the line is revolving, how each draw works, and when repayment begins.

What can a business line of credit help with?

Seasonal expensesPrepare inventory, staffing, or supplies before a busy period.
Recurring costsManage business expenses that change from month to month.
Unexpected needsRespond to an equipment repair or another unplanned business cost.
Cash-flow timingCover approved business costs while waiting for customer payments.
A SIMPLE EXAMPLE

A business has costs that change throughout the year. A line of credit may provide access to funds when those needs arise. The owner should review the cost of each draw, the payment schedule, and whether repaid funds become available again.

This example explains a possible use. It is not a client story, approval, or credit offer.
